Krupp Scout Hollow Day Camp

We took our pack to Krupp Scout Hollow. We had a much smaller group this year but still had just as much fun. It is so fun being Gavin's scout leader so I can be involved with it all.
Connor, Aaron, Tevan, Gavin and Porter
Making rattle snake tail knots

Playing tag

Learning how to throw boomerangs
Gavin is the one with the boomerang in the middle
Porter's stance was so intense, funny kid
Looking cool in their safety glasses
Shooting BB guns
Gavin and Tevan
Gavin was one of only a few scouts who were able to hit the bell
(it's at the tip of the gun in the picture)
Learning about aeronautics and making paper airplanes
After the boys made their planes they got to throw them off the top of the fort. Gavin's went pretty far
Totem Pole time
It was SOO HOT, like over 90 degree's hot and we were outside all day. I brought a spray bottle and sprayed the boys, made them drink lots of water and towards the end of the day they were getting so warm they were dumping water on themselves.
They even filled their hats with water and then put them on their heads.
They also learned about hot air balloons and how they work. Then they were able to design their own. Gavin's was a half eaten hot dog.
Melanie, Aaron and Porter
Gavin, Tevan and Connor
Gavin's stuff from scout camp. His hot dog balloon makes me giggle. He earned the beads at each station and made the rattle snake knots with minimal help.
