Buck Tooth Billy in a Boot and Zote

I came home from class tonight to a couple of pretty funny and interesting things. The first thing to greet me was Gavin with his Buck Tooth Pacifier in his mouth wearing one of my purple boots, funny in itself.(If you look really close you can see Gavin's sticky finger artwork on the window in the background.) Then I walked into the kitchen and found this Zote on the counter exactly how it sits in the picture, like he was trying to display it for me to make it more appealing which was kind of funny, but the fact that Cody was so excited about it WAS the funny part. He then proceeded to tell me about it. He found it at Smith's in the "Mexican Aisle"(keeping in mind I asked him to run to the store to get some more milk while I was at school. Last time I checked the milk wasn't in the same aisle as the tortillas. Why he was in that aisle I'll never know. Maybe he secretly wants to be Estaban Garcia!). He said you can do everything with it: laundry, wash dishes, and even wash your a--! I asked him how he even heard about it and all he said was, "I'm a genius!" He went on to tell me how it is cheaper than Ivory ($1.29 for 14.1 oz) and it was made with COW FAT and coconut oil. (Yum! I'm going to wash my clothes and dishes right now!) "The good thing is it has optical brightners that keep your clothes from fading and it's MADE IN MEXICO!" The simple things that amuse my husband. So, if any of you don't know what to get Cody for his upcoming birthday, save yourself some serious cash and the headache of looking and just go to the "Mexican Aisle" at Smith's and buy him some Zote for $1.29!!

Paul & Erin's Wedding

Here is my baby brother Paul and my new super awesome sis-in-law. They were married on Friday, Sept. 26th in the Idaho Falls Temple. They met when Erin was buying windshield wipers @ NAPA where Paul works. Somehow (I still don't know how he did it) he ended up with her number and as Erin says "It was all downhill from there!" He FINALLY asked her to marry him after he chickened out a couple of times and luckily for him and us she said, "Yes!" There's a funny story about a ring and belly button lint that some of you already know and if you don't I'll let them tell you.
Paul was the last (but not least) to get married so our family is complete except for the rest of the grandchildren that my mom keeps begging for (Come on Karen, you know it's your turn!).

Gold Digger

Once again Gavin has "picked" something else up from his dad. I told Cody this was going to happen if he kept Gold Diggin' in front of Gavin.
He didn't even care that we were all laughing and taking pictures, he just kept on picking.

Playing with Grandma's horse

Gavin loves animals! Here he is playing with Grandma's horse Rusty. He kept sticking his fingers up Rusty's nose and then he decided that he wanted a hug from him(see right). He had no interest in riding him, he just wanted to play

I LOVE Spaghetti!!

We were eating dinner (spaghetti) the other night and Gavin started pulling all these funny faces and "flexing" his muscles (He must have picked that one up from his dad). We were laughing so hard and of course I had to grab my camera. I think this may have been the same night that he burped and then said "uh-oh" which made us laugh even harder. He is such a spaz!!

The Caves

I know Cody and I are adults, but we still like to play a good game of Hide-and-Seek every once in a while, except we play a Beefed-Up version that our friends taught us a few years ago. Here's how you play:
Step 1: Call a bunch of friends and invite them, the more the merrier.
Step 2: Go to the dollar store and buy a bunch of glowsticks (4-5 of the FAT ones per person.)
Step 3: Put on some old dark and grubby clothes (as portrayed in the photo). Also grab a flashlight.
Step 4: Find a cave, a really big dark cave
Step 5: Once you are in the cave break the glow sticks open and splatter yourselves and the walls, floor, and rocks in the cave. Then turn off the lights and play!!!

We Finally Made It!!

After much harrassment from friends who I shall not name (you know who you are) I have finally created a blog. It's only taken me a about a month so far, but the hard part is over so I should be posting things more frequently. Maybe I'll even do some right now!
