Girls Day Out

Chelsea had been planning our yearly trip to Utah for some serious shopping for a little over a month. We had a van full at one point, but the last week they were dropping like flies due to family obligations, sick kids and terrible morning sickness so it ended up being just the two of us which actually worked out really well because we both wanted to go to the same places.
We were up at 6am, got our kids fed and to the sitters and were on the road by 7:30am.
(PS I could not fall asleep and last time I looked at my clock it was after 1 am so I had less than 5 hours of sleep)
Just doing a little light dusting on the way
We got to Kid to Kid in Layton (our fav of all the locations) in record time. They found out that we came all the way from Idaho Falls to shop there and they gave us VIP treatment and let us in their "backroom" to have first dibs on everything, it was AWESOME!! We were pretty excited to say the least.
We were so excited to go to lunch at McGrath's and were devastated when we realized they were no longer open. NOOOOOOOOO!!!
Chelsea wanted to go to Mimi's for a bran muffin that was "to die for". Once we got there she admitted that she hadn't had one for 15 years, really 15 years? It must be some muffin if it was 15 years ago and she still remembered it. It was moist, yummy and didn't disappoint.
We picked out outfits for each other. Chelsea's butt says "FATAL".
I thought it was actually a pretty cute outfit once she got it on, she didn't think so.
Chelsea knows I hate shirts with cats on them so of course that what she picked out. The skirt was actually REALLY comfortable, but both items were left behind. I did score a super cute black and white maxi skirt though, yes!
This is super blurry, but we tried on TONS of clothes and bought even more for our kiddos.
We went to PF Changs for dinner, my first time. I totally understand what all the fuss is about now. Everything was sooo good : )
We ordered the chicken wraps for an appetizer, beef Mongolian for dinner and banana's foster (above) for dessert, yummy!
On the way home we stopped at In-N-Out to get shakes and Cody a t-shirt. Chelsea had never been there before so she got a burger to taste (because we had just had dinner) and ended up eating all of it because it was so good.

Chelsea and I in our super sexy hats, the best find of the day!

We got home 15 hours after we left and even though I was really tired I couldn't sleep because I kept thinking about and laughing at the funny things we did or said that day and had to tell Cody all about it.
