April - Week 1

APRIL 1:
-Mason brought a dead bird into the house after playing with it for who knows how long.
-We took the Coco on his first walk around his new neighborhood
-I had the best April Fool's joke ever played on me and half the neighborhood showed up for a  surprise BBQ at our house
 APRIL 2:
-Our Girl Scout Cookies were deliverd
-Chloe walked in front of Gavin on his bicycle and the sidewalk won
-We trimmed the apple tree and all the kids helped with branches, even Chloe

APRIL 3:
-Bouncy the birthday bunny died
-We got Fluffy and Spotty
-I watched Duck Dynasty for the first time ever (and promptly emailed Connelly to let him know. He's going to be so proud of me, ha ha)
-Savannah and Eric got back from their Honeymoon in Vegas so we watched them open gifts

APRIL 4:
-Found the boys outside at 7am feeding Coco (Gavin does have pajama shorts on)
-We had another flood (this makes #4) in the basement. Luckily this one was mostly contained to the laundry room, under the stairs and only part of the family room. Arrrggg!! House for Sale: Cheap!!
-Gavin had the bunny cage open while Coco was in the back yard and without adult supervision. Needless to say, Fluffy got out and I stopped Coco and put him in the kennel before he had Fluffy for dinner. Fluffy squeezed through our fence and ended up in the neighbors yard between the fence and yard shed. It took 3 neighbors, a rake, a big stick, 2 hours and a lot of coaxing to get her out. In the meantime the water was getting sucked out of our basement. It was a crazy afternoon.

APRIL 5:
-Our niece Tayvri was born
-We went to dinner with the Chase's to the Snakebite and Cody ran into an old boss who told him to call him on Monday (hint, hint)

APRIL 6:
-Listened to conference
-Had a Rock Party (picked rocks) at my sister's house
-Went to Monster Trucks

APRIL 7:
-More conference
-Eric (my new nephew in law) treated us all to homemade pulled pork burritos and Brazilian Limeade, Delicious!!

APRIL 8:
-Cody called his old boss and.....CODY IS COMING HOME!!!!!!! The company is not technically hiring, but they really wanted Cody back (the only reason he's not still there is they ran out of work, but now they have too much). The best part is they offered Cody more than he was going to ask for, promised him he would be a foreman within a year and HE GETS TO COME HOME!! We are ecstatic! No more planning my life in 2 week increments. He's going out on one last rotation so he can bring all his stuff home and give his two weeks notice the right way and then we are going to have a big HUGE welcome home party and you are all invited.
-Mason is telling everyone he is married and asking everyone if they are married.
-We went to Reed's Dairy for ice cream with the Lewis's for fhe/celebrate Cody coming home
