Disneyland-FGTD Day 3

Disneyland-The Happiest Place on Earth!

Enough of the teasers! Let's get to our day at Disneyland!
I was extremely paranoid of my kids getting lost/stolen so the first day I went a little over the top. I wrote (yes wrote..with a fine tip sharpie) on my kids' arms. It said "If lost please call 208-390-XXXX". I also took a picture of them before we left the hotel room so I would know exactly what they were wearing.
I only did this the first day after realizing (and being told by my husband) it was a bit excessive and because after making 1,000 trips to the bathroom and telling the kids 1,000,000 times not to climb, hand, and pull on things, it wouldn't be such a bad idea to have a break from them! I'm totally kidding by the way. It wasn't that bad and I would go crazy if one of my kids really was lost/stolen.
Chloe sprinkling brown sugar on her oatmeal. She would take a bit, sprinkle a little, take another bite, sprinkle a little more. We had to remind her that we were going to Disneyland after breakfast and to eat a little bit faster.
Waiting for the Disney bus. Gavin wrapped the Little's in his arms and then said, "Mom, take a picture."
Mason's first bus ride!

We made it!
Hello Disneyland : )

"Donald Goose" (according to Mason) is the first character we saw.
The kids and I all got "First Visit" buttons because we had never been before. Cody's last time was 30 years ago....that makes him sound really old!

Autograph time
This is one of my favorite pictures of the entire trip! Look at Mason's face!!
Goofy!
I had a hard time getting Chloe to look because Goofy was being so Goofy!

Goofy made a farting noise when Gavin shook his hand and the boys were laughing so hard and talked about it for days!
First ride at Disneyland: The Astro Orbitor in Tomorrowland
Gavin had to ride solo a lot because I can't do spinning rides without loosing my lunch, but he didn't seem to mind.
Buzz Lightyear at the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters ride
Ignore my face, this was a fun ride!
Cody and Chloe
The first time we went on it she was with me and she cried almost the entire way through it. She loved it the second time.
Chloe meeting Rosetta the fairy in Pixie Hollow

Chloe was obsessed with Rosetta's wings. Rosetta let her touch them while she signed the autograph book.
Meeting Tinkerbell

Chloe and Tinkerbell

Gavin and Tinkerbell
Tinkerbell talking to the kids about why Mason doesn't want to come see her.

Mason wouldn't go near Tinkerbell and when she would talk to him he hid behind Cody

We drove over 1,000 miles to see the Disney castle and get out picture taken in front of it and guess what?!?! It was under construction!! We gout our picture anyway because how many people can say they got their picture taken in front of a picture of the castle? We really just said that to make ourselves feel better.
Also, the day after we were there the second time it was uncovered!
Riding the monorail around the entire park
Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage

This is what we saw, followed by a really cute "Finding Nemo" movie/play the second half of the ride. This was one of our favorites.

Mesmerized by the view.

Guess who our princess got to meet?
We told her that Cinderella was inside the castle so she wanted her Cinderella dress on.
She walked in and there was Snow White. She asked Snow White "Where's Cinderella?" Snow White still managed to smile!

CINDERELLA!!
I was so happy/excited for Chloe that I was tearing up! She has been talking about meeting Cinderella since Christmas!
Chloe was so shy once she was actually meeting her, she didn't have much to say, she just stared at her.

She finally talked to her about her gloves

Then it was time to meet Belle

Chloe and Belle

It was so fun watching them sign the Autograph books, their signatures are amazing

On the ship Columbia. Mason kept asking where the "real" pirates were. Gavin was watching the ducks in the water. They would pick on each other and then run across the water. Gavin was laughing hysterically which made the rest of us laugh.
On the Casey Jr. Train. Chloe got her head stuck in the bars while we were waiting in line. It was pretty funny after the fact. I did tell her multiple times not to do it.
Our view from the train. Everything is so over the top which made it that much better!

Happy faces like this are the reason I get up in the mornings!
Dumbo!
Gavin
Mommy, Mason and Chloe
King Arthur's Carrosel

Gavin feeding the ducks french fries. There was a crazy down pour around 4 while we were eating our corn dogs and fries. We ended up going back to the hotel, but decided to go back around 7. When we got there it was getting dark and the lights were on. Chloe exclaimed, "Cinderella put up Christmas lights!" We almost had the place to ourselves, it was so much fun! And look who we met when we got back!!!

Mickey Mouse!!
Mason was SOOOO excited! He had been asking all day where he was.
Cody and I felt like kids all over again and how could you not in the presence of Mickey Mouse!!

We also met Minnie! Mason didn't want to meet the "girl mouse"

Grandma Blakely sent money with the kids. They decided they wanted to buy Mickey Mouse hats with it. Chloe of course picked out a princess one, Gavin picked out a "Golden" one, and Mason got Buzz Lightyear.
We also got some of the famous "Dole Whip" and it was worth it, so delicious!!

The back of Chloe's hat, so adorable!
My sharp shooter

Watching them make carmel apples
Playing on the fire engine

It started raining again after a couple of hours so we headed back to the hotel for the night. This is what you see when you walk into Disneyland, flower Mickey Mouse. They thought of every detail here! You can also see the "Christmas lights" that Cinderella put up.

Today was so much fun even though the kids were crazy little monkey's that wouldn't keep their hands off of each other and we had to repeat "Get off the railing, don't climb on that, don't hang on the chains, keep your hands to yourself" over and over again.

When the Cody and the boys went on Space Mountain Cody said that Mason laughed  the entire time. I went with Gavin the second time and I can't believe I didn't puke! It made me so sick, but it was fun being with Gavin on it. (Dramamine, etc. even the non-drowsy kind, make me drowsy so I don't take them)

We brought a roll of penny's and quarters and the kids also had an ongoing treasure hunt all day trying to find the Penny Smashing machines.

When we were on our way back to Disneyland on the bus there was a cop car behind us so we thought our bus was getting pulled over, then another one showed up as we were pulling in. There were a few other cop cars there and as we were getting of the bus the cops were pinning a guy down and handcuffing him. It was scary, exciting and funny all at the same time. We kept the kids distracted so they didn't see what was going on.
