Mad Marvin's Crazy Figure 8 Races

We went to our very first Mad Marvin's Crazy Figure 8 Races and it ended up being so much fun!

They put two sets of stacked tractor tires in the track and then the cars have to go around them making a figure 8. The middle of the 8 is the best part because once they get going the cars are crossing each others paths and start wrecking into each other. 

We would all pick our favorite car before the race would start and then see who's car made it to the end

You can't really see it in the picture, but this cars tire is completely turned the wrong way.

 

Some of these cars were impressive, they kept going and going and going despite pieces of them falling off

 

 

 

 ...and sometimes you couldn't even see the races because of all the smoke!!

 

 

 

 Between heats they had lawn mower races. Who knew these things even existed outside of Duck Dynasty?!? They got up to over 30 mph, the drivers were all decked out and they had amazing paint jobs. It was so fun to watch them. I told Cody he needed one of them so it didn't take him so long to mow the lawn.
