Jack the Elf

My kids absolutely love Jack and since I print my blog into a "Family Yearbook" every year I couldn't leave him out. This is what he did while he was here this year:

He showed up with the sniffles after a long trip from the North Pole, but made sure the kids knew how excited he was to be back
He made lots of paper airplanes
Gavin was so excited. It has been his thing to do with the church program and papers he brings home from school
Jack hung snowflakes from the ceiling over our dining room table but got tangled up in one of the lines...silly elf. Gavin said, "I wondered if he jumped and got stuck or was he just showing off?" Then after Cody took him down Chloe said, "Oh now are you OK? " (to Jack and then to Cody) "Oh good he's fine dad. He's OK right dad?"
Stuck in Santa's milk cup
The boys conversations about Jacks predicament was pretty funny.
Pinned to the bulletin board
Stuck on the portal and being help captive by Gavin's Skylander's
Wearing mommy's earrings
He added himself to our families measuring board
Pooping peppermints

Hiding in the lamp shade
HE WRAPPED PRESENTS!!!
The kids loved this one! Gavin came downstairs and said, "Mom! You need to come see what Jack did. He did a really big job!" After I saw it Gavin said, "I rearranged the presents a little because they looked dull."  Dull? Really? I'm not sure he's really 7!
Napping in Chloe's doll bed
Jack surprised the kids with "Bubble gum milk"
(My kids think that egg nog tastes like bubble gum and they love it)
Hiding on the doorbell
Reading Christmas stories
The kids were have been good so he brought them some cotton candy
Fishing
He decorated the tree (aka stocking hanger)

Gavin found a really cute reindeer at the store when we were Christmas shopping and he wanted to buy it for Jack and I'm a sucker for a cute blue eyed boy who was only thinking of others so we bought it and Gavin left him this note:
Dear Jack
We left this gift for you. I hope you like it. Merry Christmas.
From; the Frys

Jack responded with this:

Then the two of them had a lot of fun together and did this:
And were so tired they had to rest

The next night they played a game of checkers

The next night they left a trail of candy from the boys room,
down the hall,
through the dining room and kitchen,
down the stairs
through the family room and were found with a pile of candy on the couch.

They left the kids a message on the geoboard
A friendly reminder out of lego's
They wrapped one of the kitchen chairs up and then got into a bag of Hershey kisses
Jingle helped himself to some
On Christmas Eve they went home with Santa but they left the kids a goodbye note and some candy canes.
