Easter 2012

Mason, Chloe and Gavin in their new Easter clothes.
Gavin picked his out all my himself
Most of the cousins waiting for the 1-2-3-Go!! so they could start the Easter egg hunt. Uncle Kenny cheated and brought Mason and Madisen outside while we were still hiding eggs to give them a sneak peak!
Chloe got the hang of it right off, it was her first Easter egg hunt
Grandma helping her pick up her eggs after she accidently dumped her basket.
 Mason finding eggs
 More eggs!
 Chloe
Uncle Kenny was a super good helper to Mason until he dropped Mason's basket!! Oops!
Gavin with his load and there were still more to find!!
Waiting for the kids to finish
Gavin couldn't wait to see what was in his eggs and Chloe couldn't wait to sneak up and get the candy!!
The kids were pretty excited. Grandma and Grandpa even had Easter baskets for each of the kids along with the massive amount of candy from their eggs, they were so SPOILED!!
I don't know what mom is thinking, but I'm sure it's something like, "I hope the grandkids go home before all the sugar kicks in!!!"
 Me and daddy!
Chloe was slowly collecting things throughout the day, beads, Gavin's squirt gun, candy, you name it, she had it.
Checking out his Easter basket from G&G
 Mason LOVES SUGAR, SUGAR!!
 Bailee's 1st Easter
 Brigham's 1st Easter
 Faith and Madisen
(Megan was still sleeping)
 Taylor
He had more candy than he knew what to do with
 Candy, Candy, Candy!!!
Marshmallow Cream in a tube!! Have you ever even heard of such a thing? Chloe loved it!! Mom made turkey in the crock pot and it was DELICIOUS!!  It was so moist and yummy! We also had scalloped potatoes, salad, and Texas sheet cake. I was so full!

Gavin didn't want the Easter Bunny to come to our house without his daddy here so Gavin told Cody to call the Easter Bunny and tell him to wait. So Cody "called" the Easter Bunny and he came Monday night instead of Saturday night.
We had FHE and did the lesson with the 12 Eggs and then we planted Magic Jellybeans.
When the Easter Bunny came that night he sprinlked his "magic dust" on the magic jelly beans...
...and this is what grew! Gavin was so excited!
(He asked me later why a beanstalk didn't grow)
 Gavin, Mason, and Chloe's Baskets
 Playing "Angry Birds"
 He kept laughing and laughing
Mason and Chloe woke up after Gavin was gone to preschool. Mason squealed and headed straight for the balls as soon as he saw them.
 Chloe with her new shades
She loves anything that makes noise
Gathering up the pieces of the puzzle
 Now he's driving them!
This really has nothing to do with Easter other than she looks like a dyed Easter egg! We had a picnic outside on Monday with my nieces and one nephew. He left his grape juice down and Chloe found it! And of course the first thing she did with it was dump it on her head!! It was in her hair, all over her shirt, skirt and shoes and well as arms and legs. I took her straight to the tub, stripped her down and gave her a tubby!

Your Easter traditions look like a blast! I loved the magic beans. :) And marshmallow cream in a tube? I can't decide if that's yummy or gross. Haha
