EISF

We were planning on going to the fair Tuesday night but it rained and rained and rained some more followed by lots of thunder and lightening so we came home from camping a little early so that we had time to go to the fair. It was a long fun filled day.
 My two sheep and pig
Off course we had to go to the petting zoo and then Gavin wanted to go to the McKee's booth because he wanted to see the tarantulas. (This is the booth where he decided he wanted a tarantula last year, you can read about it here. )

We also got to watch all the cars and trucks come in for the Demolition Derby. The kids had fun seeing all the different ones and listening to them rev their engines.

Milking the cow. Chloe was all up in there and Mason followed because he copies everyone now and it took a minute for Gavin to be convinced to try it again.
They were even more excited that they got stickers and a chocolate milk.
We spent a lot of time at the tractors too

I'm so glad that Cody likes rides so the kids have someone to go with. I use to love them, but anymore even just the thought of going on one makes me nauseous.
Gavin was too short to go on a lot of the rides he picked out, but luckily he was barely tall enough to go on the music express.
This one is blurry but Gavin is hanging on for dear life! His arm muscles are so tight and the look on his face! I wanted to cry for him. He looked scared and I thought for sure he was going to hate it, but when he got off he told me that he had fun.

Mason picked out the "Mader wide (Mater Ride)" after he was too short to go on the helicopter ride
Chloe of course picked the Merry Go Round and we had enough tickets from the value pack for all of them (except me thank goodness) to go
 I just LOVE these guys!!
The floor spins around like a dryer and Gavin wasn't sure about it. He stood there for a long time. The little girl next to him finally went through so he decided he would be ok
 Here he comes!
He said this was his favorite part of the fair, the Fun House. Maybe next year I'll go with him.
 Daddy and the Masonator

We got the kids their Culligan feather hats, looked at some booths and what was left of the animals. Gavin loved this little miniature horse named Nova. He was gray and white and so pretty. The owner was getting ready to take him home. He let the kids pet him and then we walked with him to his trailer for the ride home. By that time the kids were done and ready to go home. We went back to the food court to get some fair food to go (Tiger Ears, Funnel Cakes, etc) but the lines were a lot longer than what was left of the kids patience so we opted to just leave (after a quick stop for some cotton candy) and hope we didn't go through Fair Food withdrawals in the next year.

We decided to head over to Rupe's which is the next best thing. We all shared a sampler basket of fries, mozzarella sticks, onion rings and jalapeno poppers and topped it off with ice cream. It pretty much did the trick

All three of them were sound asleep before we even left Blackfoot City limits.
