Chloe's Rainbow Unicorn Party

 Chloe's 5th Birthday Party
She wanted a Rainbow Unicorn Party
It was her first ever friend birthday party and I got a little crazy with it. We were on Pinterest for weeks planning it out. This is what we started out with.
In my mind was the cutest rainbow unicorn cake ever and it all started out so well
But this was the reality. Can we say Pinterest fail? I was up until almost 2 in the morning making her cake and decorating for her party in the morning.

Our morning conversation:

Chloe: Mom, aren't you forgetting to tell me something? Like Happy Birthday?
Me: It's not your birthday today
Chloe: Oh yeah, just my party. I forgot.
(a few minutes later)
Chloe: Guess what?!?!? I dreamed about love and unicorns!!
Me: What kind of love?
Chloe: UNICORN LOVE!!

This is how it all turned out : )

I got tall skinny birthday hats so they could double as unicorn horns
Rainbow Cupcakes
We found rainbow cupcake paper and rainbow sprinkles
I was so disappointed with the cake. It was all crooked and lopsided and the unicorn horn kept tipping over.
I made Unicorn Horns with Bugles and white chocolate
Rainbow popcorn
Unicorn Treat bags
Rainbow Unicorn Floats
(Rainbow Sherbert Ice cream and Sprite)
We had a mini dance party while we were waiting for all the guests to arrive
First thing we did was decorate our unicorn horns with glitter, stickers, sparkly foam and paint

Didn't they turn out so cute?!?!
Cody hand drew this rainbow unicorn so the girls could play pin the horn on the unicorn
We let the birthday girl go first
At least the girls got them all on the head
Time for cupcakes and unicorn floats
The girls made edible Rainbow necklaces out of yarn and Froot Loops

The Party Girls
Jaycee, Chloe, Brinley, Bailee, Megan, Tayvri, Keylee, Madisen, Lydia
After her friends left she wasted no time trying on her new birthday clothes, jewelry and fingernail polish
The cousins stayed her to play between parties.
She left her hat on the entire time and didn't want to take it off

A couple of hours after her friend party was her family party
Make a wish Chloe

Shopkins!

Luckily it at least tasted good!

That night we went to Heise Pizza and swimming with Kenny, and the kids. The next morning was her actual birthday and she got to open gifts from us.
Gavin and Mason got her a highchair and baby carrier
Mom and Dad got her a Baby Alive
She also got a few new clothes from all of us

I was so excited when I found this gift wrap. It went perfect with her party theme
We also set up her little Barbie bakery she got from G&G Fry
Isn't it the cutest thing ever?

The primary kids sang "Happy Birthday" to her today and her teacher said she was so shy they entire time.
She requested "Cheesy Shells" made by dad for her birthday dinner.
