We went straight from that Easter Egg hunt to one that my niece and some other young women had put together. We were in such a hurry because we were running late that Gavin accidentally shut his thumb in the car door! He missed most of the Easter egg hunt, but at least he was OK.

Maycee's first Easter
We went from the church to my Grandma's, then to a baby shower and finally to my mom's were she had an Easter egg hunt for the grandkids. These are my nieces and nephews (for now*) on my side.

The little kids lost interest after a while and then the BIG kids finished the rest. We ended up coloring eggs longer than they did! I love having an excuse to color eggs and do other kid stuff!

Mom heard that if you tap both ends of a boiled egg and then blow on one end the egg comes out so Cody and Chet decided to try it out. Chet got it to work, but Cody...not so much!

My little munchkin Easter morning. He was so spoiled by G & G that the "Easter Bunny" didn't have to bring him much
I had been planning on having an Easter egg hunt for Gavin before I found out about the other 3 we went to so Sunday before church I hid a bunch of eggs in the back yard and Batman went and found them all.

I was telling Gavin the real reason we celebrate Easter and I was trying to teach him how to say resurrection, but he kept saying "I can't say that word", then he heard it at church during sacrament meeting and repeated it and then wouldn't stop saying it. Little stinker!

Your family looks like sooo much fun! I LOVED hiding eggs this year... almost as much as I loved finding them as a kid. Gavin looks like he'll have candy for the next year. :)
Jessie-we ended up with a grocery bag FULL of candy, I think we are good for the next 4 years.
