The Great Race Pack Meeting

Gavin and his den did a skit on Idaho Falls history. You can't really see it, but Gavin made a bridge for his prop and talked about the history of it.

Gavin made his car during his den meetings. The cups on the front are his headlights. He didn't want me to take his picture (silly kid, he should know by now that it's going to happen).

Those are flames coming out of his "dual exhaust". He is his father's son after all.

In case you can't see it in the picture above, these were his license plates complete with skull bones.  Now everyone knows that he is "a man!"

Connor, Tevan, Alex and Gavin on the starting line. They had the gym decorated so cute with the flags, the pits, etc.

The boys had to race around the track 4 times and each time had to do a "Pit Stop" with their mom's and do each of these things: 

Gavin was so s...l...o...w.. with his first pit stop. When he took his socks off they come off inside out so instead of just slipping them back on and worrying about them later, he had to fix them right then and there. I couldn't help him and it was so painful to watch! He really doesn't get "hurry up", he has his own schedule but that's part of what makes Gavin who he is. 

I especially loved Pit Stop 3 because I got to squirt him in the face with water bottle and all he could do was laugh.

Gavin pulled the silly string off his shirt and out of his hair and stuffed it in his ears and then came and told me that his brains were coming out of his head.
