Gavin's First Blue and Gold Banquet

Gavin's Blue and Gold Banquet was Star Wars themed and it was so awesome. Sister Lynn Mitchell had the gym completely decorated, not leaving a single detail out.
For dinner we had a potato bar and even it was cleverly done. The potatoes were "Darth Taters" and the chili was "Chewbacca Chili" to name a few.
The boys made Star Wars themed cakes that we all ate for dessert. Gavin wanted to make a full size 3D Yoda head until I reminded him that he had to do it not me and that even I couldn't make a cake like that. He decided on a Kylo Ren light saber cake instead.
Black frosting is never a good idea, look at that tongue!
I'm not sure if this was cheating since there aren't really any rules, but we decided to use rice crispy's instead of cake because how in the heck to you make a light saber out of a cake and not have it completely fall apart as you try to frost it? This way Gavin could actually do it all himself and I wouldn't have to worry about him tearing the cake up as he frosted it.

Life of Fry - February

Morning snuggles in the middle of the hall
Chloe wanted to sleep on the floor and Gavin's bed didn't get remade so he wanted to sleep in Chloe's bed. The only problem was he is way too long for it. He solved the problem pretty quickly with a rice bag. lol!
Mason bought Gavin a crystal growing kit for Christmas. It turned out pretty cool.
We babysat Journey for the Beck's. Gavin fed her and got her to sleep while I cleaned up dinner. Then he wanted to sleep by her on the couch to make sure she was ok. It was the sweetest thing.
The boys wore football jerseys for spirit day at school. I found one for Gavin and we borrowed the 49ers one for Mason from his cousin Madisen. Cody couldn't believe that I actually brought a 49ers jersey into our house and THEN let our son wear it! ; )
Jamba Juice for FatFRYday after Chloe performed at the basketball game.
(Daddy was home quarantined to his bedroom because he has Influenza A)
Saturday afternoon
Later Saturday afternoon
We went to our friends the Mickelson's to watch the Super Bowl. We headed out to the hot tub during the 3rd quarter and stayed until the game was over. It was so relaxing and I had great company.
Erin invited us to go to Alpine to see the elk with them. The kids did really great for being in the car for so long.
Just a typical night at our house
I truly believe that Chloe does not know how to sleep normally in her bed.
When your 5 year old is whining because the sun is hurting her eyes so you throw a lampshade on her head.
When your other 5 year old goes behind the couch (even though you have told him a million times not too) and he gets stuck and can't get out and is embarrassed because you are taking a picture of him being stuck.
Growling Garth.
We were looking at houses and I walked into a bedroom, turned the light on and SCREAMED SOOO LOUD!!! Who leaves a realistic looking tiger on their bed to scare the hell out of potential buyers?!?!?
Donuts at home for fatFRYday
We had plans all week to go to my brother's for Braxton's bday party. All Chloe could talk about was Taylor. She couldn't wait to see him and she barely left his side all night.
Gavin wanted a selfie with me with my new selfie stick for Valentine's Day.
He was getting annoyed because Mason and Chloe kept photobombing the pictures
Third time is a charm
One of Chloe's outfit's of the day. I love seeing what she is going to pick out next.
Topless FHE
This kid loves to read, inside, outside, upside down.
Busted reading under the covers

Daddy and his friends had jerky made out of their geese and the kids loved it

Chloe did not like how it smelled!
The Fry's all went to Fuji to celebrate Jason and Eric's birthdays. It was so much fun, the food was so good and we had the funniest chef! I was laughing so hard I was crying. We had a great time.
Gavin set out his clothes for school the next day
Grandma gave Chloe some pretty bling and she was so excited. She put it ALL on to wear to church
 Chloe grooming daddy's beard
Gavin wanted to go to the library to read books with me for date night like Chloe had done. We found a bunch of books, plopped on the bean bags and read the night away.
I said, "smile" and he instantly did this, what a stinker!
He dipped his finger the middle of his lava cake and ate it. Then he scooped the rest out with his spoon and put it all in his hot cocoa with 2 packs of sugar.
He way lying on the bench in a sugar coma before we even got our ticket
Chloe's new swim suit came in the mail and she had to wear it the rest of the day. She also thought she needed to wear it outside to "test it out".
No outfit is complete without her "Cinderella shoes"

Valentine's Day

Cody got me selfie stick (Weird right? I'm not a selfie person) for part of my Valentine's gift. This is our first family selfie.
It's so fun to see what Valentine's the kids pick out every year and Chloe was the only one that really surprised me when she didn't pick princess Valentine's.
Gavin- Plants vs. Zombies with tattoos
Mason - Star Wars with masks
Chloe - Puppies and Kittens with stickers
My Valentine's gift from Cody. He also bought me a Pepsi, but it was in the refrigerator.
Cody is and has been a Miami Dolphins fan since he was a little boy. My dad told me about this lamp that he saw on an online auction so I tracked it down and bid on it and got it for him. He was super excited about it.
(please don't mind the messy bed in the background, it was the only picture I had without having to get up of my cozy spot on my couch and taking another one)

I have been wanting to do this for years, but kept forgetting or didn't have time. This year I finally did it (one advantage to having nothing to do). I cut out 14 hearts for each of my Valentines and I wrote 14 things that I love about each one of them. Every night from Feb. 1st to Feb. 14th I would tape a new one next to their bed so they had a new one to read every morning.
Cody
Chloe
Gavin
Mason

(I just realized looking at these that some of their hearts are missing. I have no idea what they did with them)

They loved them so much! This is definitely going to be a yearly thing at the Fry house.

Frost

The frost on the trees is one of my favorite things of winter. I love the contrast of the white on the dark bark and the detail to every single piece of snow/frost that is on the branch. It's times like this that I had a super fancy camera that I actually knew how to use, but I don't so here are a few that I took with my phone.
