MONDAY
You can read about Monday morning on a previous post, but by late afternoon things had calmed down and I found a fun treat on Pinterest that I decided to try out for our FHE treat
This is the Pinterest version
This is what mine looked like.
I think next time I will use a larger pan than the recipe called for so mine are thinner and will roll easier, but I'm sure they will NEVER look like the picture.
TUESDAY
*Covered a shift at MMSC and had to be there at 6am. Luckily for me and the kids Chelsea (my super friend and sitter) came over here at 5:15am so the kids could sleep until 7am when she needed to be back at her house.
*That night I didn't even have to make dinner because Grandma invited us over for pizza AND ice cream!! A treat for mom and kids!!
WEDNESDAY
*Covered a shift at MMSC
*Dropped my new iphone in the bathtub!!! NOOOOOOOO!! My lifeline!!!
I had in on the dining room table while I was bathing the kids. I pulled the plug and got Chloe out and dressed and I got a text message. I responded to it and without thinking put it in the front pocket of my hoodie I was wearing and went in to get Mason out of the tub. The little stinker had put the plug back in the tub and when I reached in to pull it out again my phone fell in the water.
I grabbed it as quickly as I could I pulled the case off and dried my phone off as fast as I could. Then (with my mouth, super gross I know) I was sucking water out of every hole on my phone.
My mom called in the mean time and she could hear me, but I couldn't hear her. SNAP!! I tried to take it all apart to put it in a bowl of rice, but couldn't figure out how too so I loaded up the kids and headed the Verizon store where the guy pulled out a crazy tool kit, took it all apart, sprayed it with some crazy stuff (while I was screaming in my head STOP IT! YOUR GETTING IT EVEN MORE WET!!) and then took a special toothbrush too it. He wrapped it in a paper towel, told me to run a fan on it all night long and bring it back the next day.
No phone for over 24 hours! I'm not addicted to my phone but I don't have a land line. It's the only way to talk to my husband and everyone else. It has all of my phone numbers. I use it as my alarm clock. It has my Words with Friends on it!!
I stopped at Chelsea's to get her phone number (because it's in my phone and I don't know it by heart) since she was going to have my kids the next day and to also use her phone so I could call Cody and let him know what was going on so he wasn't worried about me when he couldn't get a hold of me on my phone.
Luckily Chelsea's husband has a cell phone that he rarely uses and they offered it to me while mine was in the Cell Phone Hospital. Chelsea Saves the Day Again!!!!
THURSDAY
*Covered my last shift at MMSC (my boss is in San Diego all week so I worked for her)
*Took my phone back to the Verizon store so they could put it back together and guess what?
IT STILL WORKS!!! (PRETEND YOU HEAR ANGELS SINGING AAAAHHHHHHHHH)
*Then my brother taught me about the app CamWow!! This is what I would look like if I had horse dentures!!
(Funny) FRIDAY
*MASON'S BIRTHDAY (will have it's own post)
*I took Gavin and Teagan (a friend's son) to school. Teagan usually sits in the back seat with Gavin so I moved the diaper bag and a few other things onto the front seat so he wouldn't have to trip over them. He wanted to ride up front with me, I realized later it was only so he could give me a wet willy, so I just pushed everything to the floor so he could sit.
When he got out of the fan I heard something fall on the ground, right in front of two of the teachers Mrs. Mohler and Mr, Rapp. They were laughing so hard and I couldn't figure out why until Teagan picked it up and put it on my front seat.
Yep! A plastic bloody foot. They said they have seen McDonald's wrappers, toys, sippers, etc. fall out of cars but never, ever a bloody foot. I told them I was "sorry you had to see that". Mr. Rapp said he was only sorry because he didn't have his camera! I'm so glad they had a sense of humor.
SATURDAY
*Went to my niece Faith's birthday party
*Gavin had his first bike crash of the year. I carried him from the cul-de-sac to our house because according to him he "couldn't walk". After some cuddles, kissess, neosporin and two band-aids he was as good as new.
*Later the naughty boy rode his bike to Teagan's (blocks away) after I told him he couldn't go without me. Needless to say his bike is now hanging from the ceiling in the garage.

How were the goodies? I've seen them but never looked at the recipe- is it easy?
Why the foot? I know you haul all sorts of weird things around, but a bloody foot? That's odd even for you, Teri!
@ Stevie- It was part of Oliver's gag gift for his birthday, but my kids discovered it before it got to him and they love it. They take turns holding it and I can bribe them with it, "if you're good you get to hold the foot!" Crazy I know, but it works! ;)
