With Cody having surgery the next day we had one last chance to go swimming to Lava Hot Springs before summer was over because Cody wouldn't be able to get in the water after it was done. Mason and Chloe had never been before and Gavin was young enough he barely remembered going.
The kids told us that Lava was "better than Disneyland." Had we only know it would've saved us so much time and money!
Mason really was having fun, but he wasn't very excited about the pictures
I tried a little bit later, but go the same response...a big fat frown!
Cody and Gavin were letting the bucket dump on them. I kept pretending that I didn't get a picture of it so they kept standing under the bucket over and over until I was laughing so hard that they finally caught on.
Shortly after this Cody saw a piece of you-know-what in the kiddie pool. We were all evacutated promptly by Cody and then the life guards had everyone else get out because there was a 'biohazard' aka code brown. Cody hates swimming in public pools and we have to beg him to go, then when he finally does, this happens. There were 3 other pools there and the kid has to poop in the one we are in.

They boys went down the slides over and over again. Mason was about 1/2 inch too short, but they gave him a wristband anyway, it's those big brown eyes I tell ya. They can get him anything he wants.
Then Mason went down the little slide and he was scared, the pressed against the walls to stop himself at the bottom and then the slowly slipped into the water.
Chloe had her life jacket on and was chasing me around the pool. She was swimming fast enough to catch me.
Gavin and I went down the huge "wedgie slides". Cody wanted to go, but couldn't do the stairs with his knee so he had to sit this one out.
