Gavin needed to go on a 1 mile hike as one of his requirements for scouting so we all joined him and went hiking on Cress Creek Nature Trail. We planned on going last fall when the weather was warmer, but with moving, school, work and everything else we had going on it just didn't happen.

He even packed us a picnic sandwiches, banana's and water and carried it all himself in his backpack.
They had to "take a break" at the very first bench they saw. It wasn't very far from the trailhead, but I guess hunting for walking sticks wore them out.

It was Friday so of course we had to stop at Orange Leaf in Ririe to celebrate Fat FRYday!!
