Legacy Flight Museum

I had been wanting to take my kids to the Legacy Flight Museum for a long time and we just happened to be in Rexburg one afternoon so we stopped and we picked a great day to stop. The air show was they next day at the airport (where we were) so the pilots and all their planes were showing up for the big show the next day so we got to see lots of extra planes that aren't normally there.
 "Ole Yeller"
The Jelly Belly pilot saw the kids there so he loaded them up with packages of Jelly Bellies

This was the biggest plane there at the time. They were washing it all up and they let the kids each take a turn with the rag cleaning it up.
We spent a lot of time upstairs looking at old uniforms, missles, bullets, etc. Gavin couldn't believe how big it all was. I spent a lot of time on Google trying to find the answers to all the questions he was asking me.

We also were able to watch a few of them land and do fly by's. It was a fun afternoon.

Father's Day 2014

Father's Day was pretty much a flop this year. When Cody got home on Friday he started demolishing our kitchen and on Saturday it was in our front yard:
We like to believe we are improving the look of the neighborhood! We spent all of Friday night/Saturday doing kitchen stuff so I didn't have anytime to do anything for Father's Day including gifts.
Sunday morning the kids gave him coupon books that they had made at their sitters a few days before.
Because my kitchen no longer existed and what was in my kitchen was lost in boxes in my living room this is what we came up with for his Father's Day breakfast while he was at a ward council meeting. Reese's Peanut Butter cup oreo's and a glass of milk served in a plastic bowl on top of a stool that is on top of my microwave in my living room.
(But check out the old linoleum that we found under the carpet that was under the pergo in our dining room. It's so old that pattern is coming back in style!)

I did get the Father's Day Interviews done. Interesting as always!
