My oldest nephew turned 13 on August 5th making him officially a teenager. How did that happen? I know I say this all the time, but time is just flying by and I really want it to just slow down a bit, quite a bit actually.
Here's the birthday boy.
My brother and his two kids (Taylor and Faith) are really into motor-cross racing and are really good at it. They are always getting 1st, 2nd and 3rd places when they race. My brother has a friend who has his own track at his house so Taylor has his birthday there every year so everyone can bring their bikes and four wheelers to ride on it, hence the reason he is in his riding gear.
They played a joke on Taylor and put one of his presents (motorcycle related of course) in a Victoria's Secret bag, It was cute to watch him blush.
Faith in her gear. It's pretty cool to see her long hair hanging out the back of her helmet. She is so good and has no fear, but is still into pink and other girl stuff.
Uncle Kenny teaching Gavin how to ride a dirt bike. I have a strong feeling that we are going to be spending a lot of money on motor-cross stuff pretty soon. Gavin LOVES it and I'm pretty sure Uncle Kenny is going to get him into racing too.
Gavin is a natural. He took off right away and even went to the biggest hill right off the bat. He didn't give it enough gas and ended up stopped almost to the top (didn't get a picture), but he kept his cool and didn't let the bike fall and he wasn't scared at all. He just held his arms up and was like "now what?"
Like Cody said, "The good news is he has no fear, but the bad news is he has no fear."
