School was cancelled due to the mass amount of snow we got so we took full advantage of the snow day.
All dressed and ready to go!
Mason and Gavin making snow angels
I love the dark and white contrast of the snow on the trees in the winter
We got a lot of snow last night!
An angel in the snow angel
The snow was so deep Gavin would sink almost a foot when he would lay down to make one
Liz and Talmage
We hooked the sled up to the 4 wheeler and pulled the kids all over the neighborhood. Anytime we would see any kids out we would stop and pick them up. At once point we had 2 adults and 3 kids on the 4 wheeler and 6 kids on the sled, that's 11 people!! I'm sure we were breaking all kinds of rules and laws, but it was a blast!
We grabbed Bundy's, Beck's, Voda's, Lords, Lewis's, and some other random kid that we didn't know but his mom said it was ok. We even had the neighbors dog on with us! We went out once in the morning and again in the afternoon and probably would've went that night if it didn't get dark so early.
Tammy invited us over for hot cocoa and fresh out of the over chocolate chip cookies when we were done the second time and it totally hit the spot! I seriously live in the coolest neighborhood with the funnest people ever!
Last night the snowplows came through the neighborhood and made a huge pile of snow in the cul-de-sac so Gavin and I took the sled over for some fun while the two little ones were napping (don't worry they were frequently checked on and I was less than 100 yards way).
King of the mountain
I climbed up to the top to help him hold his sled while he went down over and over and over again.
