Life of Fry

Gavin had his baptism preview a few Sundays ago. I can't believe he is almost 8 already. Time is flying by. I'm pretty excited though because I get to be his cub scout leader and get to do all kinds of fun stuff with him.
Typical Chloe: fingers in her mouth, 80's rock band hair and a leotard
The Little's were so excited to show me their fort they made all by themselves.
We saw these at Sam's Club and these two begged for "matching clothes". Their cuteness costs me a lot of money sometimes. Both of them are so short I'm not sure they will ever grow into their pants.
Grandma stopped by to show us her new perm :)
Chloe letting "horsey" hear his own heart. I was pretty impressed that she even knew where the horse's heart was.

The kids are always wanting to play with my stethoscope, but I'm a little hesitant to let the play with a $100 "toy". My sister and I made a trip to the DI and I found a real stethoscope for $2 so I couldn't pass it up. They were so excited when I brought it home and told them it was theirs to play with whenever they wanted.
Listening to horsey's heart
This year we were invited to the Mickelsen's for a super bowl party. Chloe was in complete heaven because she had a dress up box of clothes to try on and girls to play with. There was also cookies, donuts, sugary drinks and everything else that little girls are made of to eat : )
The kids came in from jumping on the trampoline to show me their "super capes" that they made.
Someone has a monkey on his back...a along with a bunny, a transformer and whatever else is hiding in there.
Jesus is pretty serious about protecting the Fry household!
We kidnapped Krystin at took her out for pie for her birthday. It was all fun and games until we all realized that I was the oldest one there and then the "old lady" jokes never ended. Broken hips, walkers, poor vision, I even ended up with "Memaw" as my new nickname.
Left to right: Amanda, Liz, me, Stevie, Lindsey, Camille, Jessica and Krystin the birthday girl
It was Chloe's first time saying the scripture in primary today (John 3:16) and she was so excited. We practiced at home and on the way to church. She sat in the chairs in front of primary beaming from excitement. When it was time to due it she stepped up to the microphone and froze. I was right next to her whispering what she had to say and she had absolutely nothing to say which is the opposite of how she usually is. We waited and I prompted her a few times, but her lips were sealed so I said it for her. When I was done she asked, "Now is it my turn?" Oh Chloe! I love you.

I think it's about time I get Chloe to the dentist, what do you think?

Family Movie Night

I told Gavin we were going to have a family movie night on Friday night. When Friday night came he asked when everyone was going to get here. When I said family he thought the entire family. It was too late to invite everyone at that point so I told him we could call and invite everyone for Saturday night. He went above and beyond and made invitations for us to deliver.
Cody and I were giggling at the "don't be late at all!" part. LOL! He must get that part from his parents.
He even had us all sign the back
Our first every Family Movie Night!
Cody popped popcorn and filled popcorn bags, I made bought cookies and picked up the movies at Redbox and everyone else brought yummy treats. I thought I had rented Night at the Museum 3, and Cody and I felt silly because we paid to go to the theater the night before with the kids, but when we put it in the DVD player we realized it was the original Night at the Museum and then I felt bad because I had told everyone it was the 3rd one. It all worked out though because we all hadn't seen it for years. We also rented The Nut Job and the bigger kids stayed around to watch the second one.

When it was all done we decided that we needed to do this more often. Next time it's the Blakely's turn so be ready!

Bowling with the Memmott's

We went out on another date night with our friends Brett and Adlina. Last time we went out with them someone (Adlina) miscalculated where the bowling lane was and threw her ball over the lane and it hit the Bowlero carpet man that was on the wall. She also ended up tripping and disappeared behind a wall. This was years ago and we are still recognized as the friends of the "crazy lady" when we go bowling. (I made that last part up myself). I teased her that we would go to dinner and bowling with them again on the condition that I could wear a disguise.
This is what I was wearing when they picked us up.
We went to Rigby and ate at Gator Jacks (leaving the disguise in the van) and then we went to Rigby Bowl. We were laughing because it is now a U-haul rental/Fedex shipping center/Bowling alley all under one roof. They also had a pool table at the top of lane 8 and video games on the lane, only in Rigby. But, Adlina and I decided that we are never bowling anywhere else again because they have a lucky ball there and the two of us were so lucky (for us!)
Game 1:
Teri(Francis): 1 spare, 3 strikes
Adlina (Al): 6 spares, 1 strike
I tied Cody aka Estaban (who had an unlucky ball) at 105

Game 2:
Teri: 4 spares
Adlina: 2 spares, 3 strikes
Adlina (Al), Teri (Francis), Brett (Burt) and Cody (Estaban)
Goofy pics are always my favorite!

Thanks for the fun night!!
