Registered Nurse!

It's official! I passed my boards and I'm officially a Registered Nurse! What more can I say except

YIPEE!!!

Our "Mini Vacation"

I had to go to Salt Lake City (Draper to be exact) to take my nursing boards (aka NCLEX exam).

My plan: Work all day Tuesday, go to mutual that night and wake up in the morning and drive to Draper, take my test (that I scheduled at 2pm for that purpose) and then come home and work the next day.

My plan altered by my dear sweet husband: Work half a day on Tuesday, drive to Utah, go out to dinner, get a hotel, go swimming, go to bed, eat breakfast, go shopping, eat lunch at In & Out (great burgers, but not good for the nervous stomach) and then drop me off to take my test, go out to dinner and drive home. (Oh, did I mention it was all last minute? As if I wasn't stressed enough! Love you honey)

My plan was a lot simpler and cheaper, but he decided to make it a mini vacation and I was happy he decided to come with me. It was nice to get away even if it was over night and it helped to take my mind off of my test.

The flowers I had waiting for me from my two favorite boys when I was done with my test!

Gavin's First Sleepover

Gavin had his cousin Lukas over for the night. They had tons of fun and it didn't stop when they went to bed. I told them to pretend they were asleep and I would take a picture, this is what transpired:

Finally! : ) How can you not laugh at that!

Don't let them fool you! They were both up giggling for another hour like a couple of teenage girls, but they did stay in bed the entire time.

Eskimo

My Favorite Little Boy!
I finally convinced him to put his snowsuit on, but only because he watched Calliou on TV and he was wearing his snow suit. That's our snowman from a few weeks ago behind him. He had a traumatic accident and lost his head.

This one reminds me of the movie "A Christmas Story" when Ralphie's little brother Randy fell down and couldn't get back up because his suit was so fluffy!

Where's Gavin?

Every night we put Gavin to bed in the same spot with his same favorite
blankets, but we don't always know where or how we will find him in the
morning. It's a surprise everyday.

He was a Skater Boy

Hold on!
"Mama, I fall down!"-Gavin

"Look at mine butt!"-Gavin
He didn't do to bad once he figured out how to make them go.

I'm a Slacker

I know it's been over a month since I've posted anything and I'm still not really posting anything now except to say I promise I will update by the end of the week. It's been a crazy busy month and I have lots to tell you about....later!
